M.A.D. (Men Against Discrimination)
"Only when we protect a man's parental rights will we protect a child's right to have a father."
M.A.D. is an organization dedicated to bring organization and awareness to issues concerning men. Issues where men are not getting fair representation in the media or the courts. Issues that we believe are so discriminatory as to be actually against the law.
Issues that when looked at in depth are not just injustices against men, but also to society as a whole. The outcomes of these bad laws are contributing to the destruction of marriage and the family; and contributing to the children in our society being raised fatherless.
The major issue we will focus on is the discrimination against men in the family courts.
Men are denied access to family planning and reproductive choices equivalent to those given to women. Men are treated unfairly in the courts in regards to custody determination, access and enforcement. The laws concerning child support have no basis in sound economics. Most of the family court laws are in effect to place the costs of a failed welfare system, onto men. Men who are not given the choices or responsibilities of fatherhood, only the liabilities that women and the government don’t want.
